Pupil Responsibilities

Across school pupils are given opportunities to take responsibility in areas that we think are really important. Pupils are democratically elected to these responsibilities. They take their roles very seriously and strive to make a difference in our school.


Anti Bullying Champions

We are the ABC’s (Anti Bullying Champions) and we want to stop any type of bullying in our school. We want our school to be an even safer and happier place for EVERYONE! We can help you and tell you everything you need to know about bullying and what to do if you see it.

Rights Knights

We are the Rights Knights and we want to help improve school life. We can help you and tell you about your rights, how to feel valued and to recognise the rights of others. We meet often to make improvements to the school whenever possible.

School Council

We are the School Council and we help make this school a better place to be. We will ask you what makes you happy in school and take your response to the head teachers.

Eco Warriors

We are Eco Warriors and we want to raise awareness of environmental issues, such as reducing single use plastics and not littering. We can help you understand how important it is to protect our planet.

Digital Leaders

We are Digital Leaders and we can help you stay safe online and give you advice if you are being cyberbullied. We want everyone to be safe online and be aware of the dangers that you may face when you are online

Sports Leaders

We are Sports Leaders and we help you get active and enjoy sports in general. Every lunchtime we will be there to host a sports game and make sure it is fair.

Attendance Champions

We are the Attendance Champions and we want to encourage you to come to school. We can tell you all the benefits that you will receive if your attendance is over 96% - such as friendships and social skills.

Head Boy and Head Girl

We will help contribute and make this school a better and more comfortable place to be. We want everyone to be happy and to enjoy coming to school. You can come to us if you have any ideas or concerns about the school as a whole. We are always available, very approachable and happy to help.

Mental Health Champions

We are the Mental Health Champions. Mental health is a serious business and together we can create a safe and supportive space for everyone in our school. We can help you understand your emotions and direct you to the appropriate person. ‘Our motto is ‘Laughter is the best medicine.’
