The children in Y3/4 enjoyed a morning of gymnastics at AAA Sports in Southwick. They experienced the high-life on the trampolines, the bars and the box. One pupil said "It was amazing, I jumped higher than I've ever been before!" What a brilliant experience. AAA Sports

Year 4 enjoyed a day at The Great North Museum (Hancock) as part of our Autumn term topic: What did the Ancient Greeks do for us?

We explored the exhibition galleries and took part in a Fighting Greek Forces workshop where we handled replica weapons and armour, used investigation skills to solve problems and learnt about the life of a Greek Hoplite foot soldier.

Everyone had a brilliant day but we're all pleased we aren't children in Ancient Greek times!
