We had another hugely successful visit to London last week. All the children were an absolute credit and wonderful ambassadors for our school. They even got compliments from members of the public for their manners and behaviour.
Everyone had a great time even though they were totally shattered- and that was just the staff!
“A fabulous time was had by everyone on this year’s London visit. On the first day the children visited Buckingham Palace and Queen Elizabeth was at home as the Royal Standard was flying; unfortunately she didn’t have time to pop out and see us as she was hosting a Royal Garden Party.
We drove through the streets of London seeing Hyde Park, Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Covent Garden, Nelson’s Column, Horse Guards Parade, 10 Downing Street and The Mall.
On the first evening we went to the theatre to see Lion King – what an amazing experience the children and adults were thoroughly entertained.
After a good night’s sleep we visited London Zoo, even though the weather was not kind to us we still saw some amazing animals such as, giraffes, monkeys, hippopotamus, lemurs, seahorses, hunting dogs and water rats.”
